Introducing Our New Staff

Eden Agnew

Hi, I'm Eden and I am so excited to be teaching at King's College in 2022! It is an absolute blessing to be a part of this school community and to be teaching the Prep students this year! I love all things music, and that is something that I am definitely going to enjoy with my students this year. We've already enjoyed singing and moving and dancing together this week as we learn. I live with my lovely family (my parents, sister, and two brothers) and my two dogs (the absolute cutest Cavoodles). Extreme Life Church is my Church family and I love using my music skills to serve there every Sunday! I am so excited to learn with my students this year and share about God and the Bible with them in the classroom! I'm looking forward to the fun and crazy year ahead.

Jocelyn Bail

Hi, my name is Jocelyn Bail. I have joined King's this year teaching Year 7 and Year 8 PE and Year 7 Personal Development. I am recently married to Lachlan Bail (PE Teacher and Year 7 to 9 Coordinator at King's). I am excited to get to know the students and their families this year.

Maddy Birch

Hi everyone, my name is Maddy Birch. I am joining King’s College as part of the learning support team. I’ve just moved to Warrnambool from Geelong, but have been holidaying here for many years. I attended Covenant College, where I continued to work as an assistant in classes for four years after I graduated. In 2019 I had an amazing opportunity to travel and work in Arizona as part of the Camp America program. I got to teach children about nature, play sport, explore the forests and ran a cabin of girls 24/7 for three months. I love animals (especially my dogs), travel, and walking with God. I can’t wait to get to know everyone, and am very happy to be joining such a welcoming community.

Stephen Griffin

Hi, my name is Stephen Griffin. I've been teaching for just over eight years and have experience teaching most year levels. I'm passionate about young people and their education. I have a background in coaching and playing a number of different sports over many years.  I love being part of the worship team at Gateway Church and hope to bring that into the classroom.  I have lived in and around Warrnambool for most of my life and am blessed with a beautiful wife, four amazing children, and a granddaughter (soon to be two).

James Haworth

My Name is James Haworth and I am joining King's College in the joint roles of Bus Driver and Grounds Person. I am married to Kathleen Haworth with two kids - Tyler in Year 3 and Alyra in Year 1. My background is in retail - the last seven years I have worked for the Callaghan motor group in service, with the last five being for TJM / New Age and Polaris. I love family, spending time with friends, food, the outdoors, camping and four-wheel driving. Although I am a new employee of the College, I have been part of the King's family since marrying my beautiful wife in 2010.

Kelly McKenzie

Hello, my name is Kelly McKenzie. I have the pleasure of working at King's College in the role of Learning Support Coordinator and have so far been welcomed by a very supportive team in Junior and Senior schools. The journey of working with children and teaching began for me growing up as I spent many school holidays with my cousin that has special needs and always worked in school holiday programs with children with the local council and babysitting friends' children. I initially worked at Maranatha Christian School where I completed a Traineeship as an Integration Aide and went on to do my teaching degree. My most recent roles at Covenant College in Geelong included working in VCAL in Senior School as well as teaching in the Junior School. My hobbies and interests include working with animals, camping, going to the speedway, and gardening. I look forward to being part of the King's team and getting to know families and working as a team to train up God's champions to be happy, confident, positive influencers in life.

Tom Rouse

My name is Tom Rouse and I am taking on the role of Media & Communications Officer at King’s this year. Some of my duties in this role include running the College’s social media accounts, providing video and photography support, and designing College communications. I have recently moved to Warrnambool after graduating from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne where I completed a Bachelor of Media and Communications. Some things I love include Music, Film & TV and my Cat named Neo. I am looking forward to using my skills to enhance the College this year.
