LOST PROPERTY
If your child/ren has lost an item of clothing, please go through the Lost Property Basket to see if the item is there. Any items not collected by Wednesday 14th September will be washed and donated to the Second Hand Uniform Shop.
SUMMER UNIFORMS AT THE START OF TERM 4
Summer Uniform is to be worn in Term 4. As we are a Sunsmart School – Hats are
compulsory in Term 4. Only the school hat is to be worn. These are available at Primary School Wear (Ormond).

Holt District Athletics Carnival
Thursday the 1st of September saw the return of the Holt District Athletics Carnival for the first time in two years and it was fabulous! Fifty-five athletes from Year 3-6 represented St Mary’s across both track and field events. It was a busy and exciting day for everyone, with events taking place all throughout the day. These athletes were selected based on their performance at our Try Aths Day earlier this Term.

All students proudly represented St Mary’s throughout the day, demonstrating terrific sportsmanship and giving their best effort in events. The cheering was deafening at some stages! We are all very proud of them!
We are also very excited to announce that twelve of these athletes performed so well that they have qualified to represent the Holt District at the Beachside Division Athletics Carnival on Tuesday the 11th of October. Congratulations Olivia (100m run), Athena (200m run), Josie (800m run), Wally (800m run & 1500m run), Carmen (1500m run), Ivy (1500m run), Jemima (Shot Put), Jake (Shot Put), Wilson (Discus), Chris (Triple Jump), Leo (Long Jump) and Amy (High Jump). We wish these athletes the very best.
Basketball News
This week we also received confirmation that the Year 5 & 6 Boys 'All Star' Basketball team will be competing in the Beachside Division play offs as a result of their winning performance at Holt Hoop Time earlier this Term. Coach Kat Reade is looking forward to assisting the team in this next level of basketball. The competition will take place on Thursday 20th of October.
