From the Principal

Mrs Cathy Ferrari

Dear families,

On behalf of myself and my family, we would like to thank the St Mary's School and Parish Community, for their prayers and support over the past few weeks. I feel blessed to be part of the St Mary's family and have really appreciated the beautiful flowers that were sent, the many cards and emails received, the tasty treats and meals and the gentle touch on the forearm and letting me know that our family has been in your thoughts.

I would like to acknowledge the work that Anthony has done in the last three weeks, as he stepped into the role of Acting Principal, allowing me space. Our planned activities for the term have not missed a beat and it did make me smile seeing photos of him on Book Week Wednesday!

My contribution this week is brief, so please see Anthony’s page for a few important school announcements.

As this is our last newsletter for the term, I wish everyone a well deserved break and we should all feel proud of what we have achieved this term as there have been many highlights. Enjoy some spring sunshine over the break and I hope many of you are able to play in the park or beach as Melbourne warms up.

A reminder that the school will be closed on Monday 3rd October as the staff will be undertaking professional development. We look forward to seeing students and parents on Tuesday 4th October.

Wishing all our AFL and AFLW supporters all the best for the next few weeks.

Go the Dees, said with considerable apprehension.

God Bless each of you,

Cathy
