Shoe Recycling

As your sustainability leaders, we want to tell you about an amazing thing you can do at home to protect the planet called shoe recycling. Any of your old shoes can be returned to any of the following stores at this link https://treadlightly.asga.com.au/collection-locations/

They accept any of these shoe types:

Athletic Lifestyle Shoes

 Any Sports Branded Shoes 

 Thongs and Slides 

 Football Boots 

 Sneakers 

 Trainers 

 Runners 

Golf Shoes 

This is a simple action that effects the environment in a positive way, so start collecting your old shoes you don’t need any more.

Bread Bags

Just a reminder, about the Wonder Bread program our school is participating in. You can help earn our school some equipment by putting your empty bread bags into the collection boxes at the front of the office and down in the grade 6 end of the Learning Center. Bring it in before Friday 9th September.

Coffee Cup Recycling

Many people may not know this but coffee cups can be recycled at 7 Eleven. You will see big boxes where you can place your empty coffee cups. Here is a link for more information.

By doing this, you will save millions of cups from going to waste.
