Athletics Report

On Friday 19th August, 50 students attended the District Athletics Day at a sunny Casey Fields Athletics track.

All students tried their best and should be proud of their efforts. Our school came 7th overall for the day.

8 students have progressed to Division on Wednesday 14th September at Casey Fields.

Ashveer B – Discus – 9/10 girls – 2nd

Blake D – 800m  - 11 boys – 2nd

Isabella S – 800m – 11 girls – 2nd

Matilda H – Discus and Shot Put – TF20 – 1st

Jusiah R – 80m Hurdles – 2nd

Rajneet G – 100m – 12/13 girls – 2nd

Mehar K – 80m Hurdles – 12/13 girls – 2nd

Shenon G – Long Jump – 12/13 boys – 1st

Although not progressing to the next round a special mention to the 12/13 girls relay team who came 2nd.

Thank you to Mr Hennessy, Mrs Hunter and Mr Hamilton for assisting with training over the past few weeks during lunchtimes.
