Yr 3-6 Small Schools Sports Gala Day

All student in Yr 3-6 will be competing in the Small Schools Sports Gala Day this Friday 16 September in Tamworth. This event is hosted by the Armidale Diocesan Sports Council. This is a new event particularly tailored to small schools, so they don’t miss the opportunity to compete on Gala Day. The Compass note was sent last week and permission and payment is due by this Thursday, however could this be done as soon as possible so that teams can be adjusted if necessary.

What to wear: Students are to wear full sports uniform. School Rep Shirts will be given out on the day. 

Students are to bring: School Hat, water bottle, recess and lunch. Please ensure that your child has sunscreen on and the school will provide sunscreen to be applied throughout the day.

Transport/Times: All students and staff will be travelling by bus. Students need to be at school by 7:10am as we need to be in Tamworth by 9am.   We are expected to return to school at approximately 3:45pm. Therefore you will need to make other arrangements for your child to be picked up from school.

If your child lives along Kamilaroi Highway and you would like them to be picked up, please advise the school via email by Thursday 15th September. If your child lives in Gunnedah please meet the bus at the Woolsley Tennis Courts (across from the Civic Theatre) at approximately 7:45am.

Where: The day will be held at Gipp Street Playing Fields, Tamworth.
