REAL TALK ~ PARENT ZOOM SEMINAR

Real Talk is all about getting realon the topics of sex, relationships and personal identity. Based on Christian values and using personal sharing from a team of dynamic presenters, Real Talk provides presentations, programs and up-to-date resources. We want all young people to know their true value, worth and dignity and to experience love for all it was created to be.

 

There are 4 Specialised Zoom Sessions on varied topics (additional to the Primary school parent nights). These are for Parents and Caregivers of Secondary Students and Primary Parents.

 

The next zoom seminar is on tomorrow night ~ Tuesday 13 September ~ 7:30am - 8:30am.

NEW SCHOOL SYSTEM

Our new finance system (TechOne) has just been rolled out into our school. This has been incorporated with Compass.

What does this means for parents?

  • School Fees will now be emailed to parents and can be paid in the following ways.
    • On the Compass App
    • By BPay (reference on Statement) 
      • You can no longer make payment direct to our bank account (EFT) however, if you still wish to pay it as a scheduled payment, you can do this through BPay
    • Over the counter (cash/cheque/EFTPOS)

We ask that you please be patient during this transition period. I'm sure we will have a few teething problems so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Robyn at the Office who will try to answer any queries that you have.

 

TERM 3 SCHOOL FEES

A friendly reminder that Term 3 School Fees are due by this Friday 16 September. Please refer to the information above to make payment. As always, if you are having trouble making payment, please don't hesitate to contact myself or Robyn to set up a confidential meeting.

 

SMALL SCHOOLS PUBLIC SPEAKING

The Annual Small Schools Public Speaking Competition

 (hosted by Boggabri Rotary Club) is on again.

This will take place on Wednesday 21 September at Sacred Heart School. We have over 100 competitors from four different schools. All of our students in Kindergarten to Year 6 will be participating in the Prepared section and student in Yr 3-6 will have the opportunity to choose to nominate for the Impromptu section. Students have been preparing their speech at school and a copy has been sent home for students so you can practice with them.

Students must wear FULL WINTER UNIFORM.

We look forward to watching all students participate and encourage parents to join us on this wonderful day.
