Expand that Vocab!

Vocabulary is one of the most important aspects to reading comprehension. Vocabulary refers to the understanding of words that children hear and read, and how to use that knowledge to communicate. It is essential that your child know what words mean to understand what they have read.

Research has shown the importance of repetition when developing vocabulary. Children must engage with a word several times in different contexts before it is learnt.

Library - End of Term Returns

With the end of Term 3 drawing near, students must begin returning books they have borrowed from our school library this term. Students will need to return books during their allocated library time or before/after school. Follow up's on missing returns will be issued soon. The timetable is below to see when your child has library.
