Jane Austen celebration

As part of the Jane Austen celebrations around the world this year the Library recently hosted a special Morning Tea in her honour. Students and staff enjoyed a delicious repast, and reminisced on the impact Jane Austen and her books have had on their lives.

CSC Reading Challenge

The books have been read, and activities completed. The CSC Reading Challenge is over for another year and our participants recently gathered for a delicious Morning Tea and Awards presentation. Well done to all students who took part in the Challenge this year, and special congratulations go to our three winners for 2017 – Tilly, Elwyn and Maisie. An enormous thank you also goes to Bendigo Dymocks for their very generous donation of prizes.

Our Library at Castlemaine Secondary College is not just a physical space with physical resources. We have a wealth of online material available to students from home as well as from school.
