Student Achievements

Budding Songwriter

Congratulations to Year 5 student, Damon Diamantopoulos, who was awarded Highly Commended in the Australian Children’s Music Foundation’s National Songwriting Competition within the P-6 Instrumental Category for his composition, Electric Boogaloo.

Ballet Star

Well done to Emma Dowling who was chosen as the overall winner of the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Senior Grade Awards.  She won the title of “The Student with the Most Potential” competing against 200 participants and 56 finalists. Part of her prize is a week’s scholarship to the National Ballet School of New Zealand.

In addition, Emma was chosen by Simon Dow (Australian Ballet School representative) to receive a week’s scholarship to the Australian Ballet School in 2017.

Bronze in Judo

Year 5 student, Gabriel Pogreb, participated in the Victorian State Judo Championship 2016 last weekend and successfully placed third (Bronze) in the Junior Boys under 39 kg division. Well done, Gabriel.

DUX Cadet

Congratulations to George Crossingham, Year 11, who achieved Dux in the advanced stage of training with the Australian Air Force Cadets. George was presented an award for this achievement by the Commanding Officer of No. 417 Squadron at the annual formal awards celebrated at the Caulfield RSL. Well done, George!
