PFA Report

2016 Thank You
It’s been a tremendous year for the PFA and we are thrilled to have been able to offer so many opportunities to get to know people, celebrate our community, help at school events and offer hospitality and service.
Thank you to you all for your contributions, large and small. The community we continue to support and build is as strong as your input and enthusiasm. Special mention to all those who ran events for us throughout the year. Your time and energy are always appreciated.
I am very excited about our calendar for next year. It’s full of events for you to join in and be involved in your student’s journey and your community.
Happy and safe holidays, and best wishes for the New Year. I look forward to seeing the School back in full swing in February, and to the run-up to our World Fair in March.
World Fair and Open Day - 25 March 2017
When we come back to School next year, we will be collecting:
- Secondhand books
- Secondhand children’s clothing
- Secondhand games
- Secondhand glam (clothing, jewellery, scarves, bags, shoes etc)
- Teacups/saucers and teapots (to plant succulents)
(Condition of goods - If it’s good enough to pass on to your best friend, it will be perfect for our fundraising stalls.)
Year 7 2017 Transition Gathering
Current Kilvington and new families met at Parker Park last Sunday for a get-to-know-you gathering. What a wonderful turn out, with close to the whole 2017 cohort in attendance. We hope you got to know someone new and are looking forward to beginning your secondary school journey just a little bit more. Welcome to Year 7 2017!
