Student Representative Council

Last term we organised a day together celebrating 'creative hair & hat day'.  Students came to school with a gold coin donation and celebrated their creative hair or fancy hat with one another. It was a great day and together we raised almost $300, with all proceeds donated to Sisterworks. We received a response from Sisterworks on Monday and would like to share it with you.

'Thank you so much for your wonderful support of SisterWorks! We are so lucky to be supported by so many people and organisations in the community like Carlton North Primary School.

Your donation will help 3 Sisters develop their skills for one month at our Empowerment Hubs. This will afford each Sister to learn and grow her skills to make their own self-labeled products or join the production of our items in our stores. We believe that work empowers women. This opportunity will allow them to navigate the workforce and work culture in Australia.'

We would like to congratulate everyone for participating in this charity fundraiser, well done CNPS!
