This second remote learning period has allowed our science students to continue to develop their skills as independent learners. Students are taking the opportunity to investigate and find answers to questions themselves, before they contact their teachers. This was evident when we returned to face to face teaching at the end of term 2, students used various resources to complete their class tasks and were asking less questions to their teachers. We look forward to seeing this again in our classrooms when students return to school.
Science teachers have continued to use Stile as a resource for years 7 to 10 in this second remote learning period. This platform has ready to use lessons and tests that are specific to our curriculum and these lessons can be modified to meet the needs of individual students.
Teachers can view students work on this platform in real time and give feedback where necessary.
