Luzie Gillard, Emily Kane and Isabella Cox (Year 11), who competed in the UN Youth Evatt Tasmania competition online, proceeding to the state finals, which will be held on 22 August 2020. Evatt is a Model-UN style diplomacy competition for students in Year 9-12.

Taking the form of a mock session of the UN Security Council, Evatt provides students with a deeper understanding of world issues, and the skills they need for global citizenship. It aims to educate young people about Australia's place in the world and empower them as active citizens by developing public speaking, negotiation, teamwork, research and diplomatic skills.
