Grade 3

After reading Dorothea McKellar's poem 'My Country', grade 3s finished off their own descriptive poems that painted a picture of their country. 

They continued with their persuasive writing by using persuasive language and structure to persuade our principal Megan. 3CW are using their persuasive skills to argue that a trial therapy pet is needed in Clifton Hill Primary. They supported their arguments with evidence and examples. 

In Mathematics students looked at measurement. One groups' task was to produce a video about measurement tools and measurement units around the house.
