Bek Heery’s brother Todd has been living in Antarctica for a year, working as a plumber at Mawson station. Last term the Preps were introduced to Todd and asked him fantastic questions about living in Antarctica. 

 

This term the Preps are learning about the 5 Senses for their Integrated Unit. They brainstormed and compared the differences and similarities between Australia and Antarctica. Then after viewing some videos and photos Todd sent them, they wrote a sentence with a matching picture of what Todd may see, hear or touch.
