Focus on Learning 

What a great start to the year. Stage 2 has been really busy trialing new digital technology and doing some amazing work in all KLA's.

In Mathematics we are learning about position. To start the unit off the students made a treasure map to showcase what they already knew about positional mathematics. Here are some examples of their work.

In English we are learning to write paragraphs by completing a Google Slide presentation informative text. Here is some of their work to date.

In my Literacy hub the students are completing their spelling matrix on Google Jamboard. This is a new application that we are trialing and it showcases what they have been doing in their independent learning.

In Art (CAPA) we are using traditional art techniques and then we are experimenting with digital art. Here are some examples of the sculptures that they did with Mrs Barnes.
