STAC Group Update

Easter Raffle

Once again our St Agatha’s Community showed it’s generosity with hundreds of Easter chocolates donated for our Annual Raffle. Thank you to all the families that donated, we were able to  give out 48 Easter Raffle prizes with all the yummy chocolate received. Congratulations to all our winners.

An additional thank you to the parents (and their kids) that helped assemble the gift bags and draw the raffle. Without your help we couldn’t run these fundraisers.

We raised $2,613.  The money raised from the raffle will go toward purchasing some new play ground equipment.

Building the STAC Group Team

Over the last few weeks we have put out the call for parents to put their hand up to assist in the planning, organising and communication of STAC Group fundraising and community events. We are very happy to report that four wonderful Mums have answered our call.

I would like to introduce Melinda Clancy, Sacha Orchin, Leanne Dale and Teanna Hickmott as the “Communication Brunch” of the STAC Group. However, remember the STAC Group is made up of all our St. Agatha’s parents and friends. There is no “opt in”, special invitation  or sign up.  We welcome all members of the St Agatha's community to offer ideas, provide feedback, and give a helping hand at STAC Group fundraisers and events. If you would like more information on how to help email stacgroup@stacbourne.catholic.edu.au

Mother’s Day Stall  Tuesday 9th May - Save The Date

The Mother’s Day Stall is a favourite of the students (and the Mums) and a lot of planning and organising goes into running this fundraiser event. We hope to get lots of parent helpers on the day and the day before for set up.  If you are able to assist please email stacgroup@stacbourne.catholic.com.au or put your name down on the sign up form on the pin board in the Parent’s Lounge.

To be able to assist at the stall parents will be required to have a current Working with Childrens (WWC) and have attended a parent induction.  If you don’t have a  WWC you can  apply now as even having the receipt of your application will allow you to help.  A number of inductions will also be held in the first week of Term 2 that parents can come along to. Check the calendar  for dates.

Morning Tea – Term 2

Hopefully Term 1 has given our new and foundation parents an opportunity to settle in to school life at St Agatha's. After a full term of school new parents often find they have more questions then they did at the start of the year. For this reason we would like to invite our new parents and foundation parents to a Morning Tea.
