P&F Update

Welcome back to Term 2 from the P&F Committee. I’m sure your children came home from school very excited last Friday to tell you that our fundraising goal for 2023/2024 was announced at Assembly. Our fundraising efforts this year and next year will be towards a Ninja obstacle course for the playground! More information will follow once the design and final costs are confirmed.

Mother’s Day Breakfast Friday 12th May

We have been overwhelmed with the response to our first ever Mother’s Day breakfast! Mother's Day is such a special event and we are celebrating it this year at Holy Spirit with a light grazing breakfast catered by Roxy's Kitchen and a coffee van that you can enjoy with your children and other Mum's from Holy Spirit. Please note: Bookings for this event have now closed.

A reminder for all parents; you are responsible for supervising your children until the school gates open at 8.35am. This is especially relevant to the families attending the early session.

Mother’s Day Stall Friday 12th May

Our annual Mother's Day Stall will be running on Friday 12th May. All gifts will be $5! The P&F Annual Trivia night is fast approaching (24th June), and we are seeking businesses or families who would like to sponsor the event and help us reach our fundraising targets.

If you are interested, it is really easy to show your support.

We are looking for raffle prizes, a door prize, or product vouchers of your choice!

Additional to the above - if you have another idea of how you could sponsor the night, please do not hesitate to contact Kathleen Di Rago (our Fundraising Co-ordinator) directly on 0401 249 848 or email bkdirago@hotmail.com

This will be a great event, not to be missed. Tables will be 10 people only so start gathering your crew and swotting up on your trivia facts everyone!

We appreciate all the support for our school.

P&F Frequently Asked Questions

Is there something you would like to know about P&F activities but you don’t know who to ask? This is your chance! Please email your questions to pandf@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au or ask any member of the P&F committee and we will answer them here.

Q: Is the P&F Committee the same as the Fete Committee?

A: While you may see some of the same faces on both these committees, they are actually two separate groups! The P&F Committee is made up of current parents from Holy Spirit Community School and our primary purpose is to fundraise and plan social events within the school community eg Movie Night, Trivia Night, Food days, 2nd hand uniform shop.

The Fete Committee is made up of current and past school parents and members of the wider Holy Spirit Parish community. The Fete Committee plans and coordinates the wonderful Holy Spirit Fete in October each year. The Fete is not only a great way for local people to find out more about our school and Parish, it also raises a significant amount of money, which is divided 50:50 between the school and the Parish.

Both the Fete and P&F Committees rely heavily on volunteers to run our events so please reach out to either Adam Stone (Fete Committee Chair) or myself if you’d like to get involved with either of these committees.
