Support Unit

Support Unit activities.

The support unit has had another amazing half term filled with activities.

Out and About has been interesting including a trip to the New England Fire Control Centre at the airport. Students were able to sit in the fire engine and use the large water cannon. The fire hose has a spray feature which was able to squirt Shenean even though she was to the side of the of the fire truck. We also had a trip to UNE Museum, and then the netball courts.

The representative Boccia Team travelled to Tamworth for State Championship qualifier. A narrow loss to Quirindi meant we missed the state final. We did feature in a very positive news report on NBN news where both Shenean Quinlan and Malaki Mcleod featured in quality interviews. All team members displayed good sportsmanship and a high degree of skill.

Looking forward to the Athletics carnival Wednesday 31st May.
