Stage 4

We were fortunate to have published author Oliver Phommavanh visit our school to teach Year 7 and 8 Teal about writing narratives! Oliver shared his journey to becoming a successful author as well as many handy tips about creating interesting plots in fiction.

TECHNOLOGY MANDATORY

Year 8 Tech students are working on doing their bit fir the environment this year in the textiles room. Students are designing a project that incorporates at least 50 % (some 100%) of recycled fabrics. These have been donated and would otherwise end up in landfill. Did you know that in Australia 6,000 kg pile of clothes goes into landfill every ten minutes in Australia.

If you have any old sheets, tea towels, pillowcases, t-shirts, or anything made from cotton that you would like to donate, please bring to front office and ask that it finds its way to the Textile's room. We will do amazing things with it, as you can see in the photos.
