Do You Know?

Do you know why staff are permitted to use their phones in the classroom?

All staff are expected to mark rolls twice a day and regularly check email. Mobile phones may also be used to 'air play' various photos and videos for student learning.

Staff are required to carry a mobile phone in the following situations:

  • On yard duty
  • On excursions
  • When out of the school at meetings or the like, during school hours
  • On school camps
  • In an emergency evacuation or emergency management situation
  • During whole school events when internal communication is not accessible
