Inquiry Action - Year 3

The Year 3 students have been exploring Aboriginal culture and history. Last week was Reconciliation Week and many students were so interested in this topic that they went home and watched the movie ‘Rabbit Proof Fence’ with their parents. Well done Year 3!

Rabbit-Proof Fence is a 2002 Australian film based on the book, Follow the Rabbit-Proof Fence by Doris Pilkington Garimara. It is loosely based on a true story about the author’s mother, Molly, who was a part of the Stolen Generations. Rabbit-Proof Fence tells an important story about a controversial time in Australian history.

Request for Flagpole

Well done to Emily O (3A) and Clementine C (3A) on their great letter to Brad Rowswell MP - Member for Sandringham, requesting a flagpole to enable us to fly three flags.

Deforestation - Remy J (6A)
