What are our children able to do in Japanese?!

Year 1

The children have listened to old stories of Japan and learnt some values from the past. They are able to perform a puppet show in Japanese!

Year 2

The children have learnt how to do a human machine dance in a Japanese way and enjoyed performing it!

Year 3

The children are able to write their name, age, 'nice to meet you!' etc., in Japanese and sent their greeting cards to Kawachi Nagano Junior High School!

Year 4

The students can spell their name, age, grade, what they like etc., in Japanese and will send their greeting cards to Kawachi Nagano Junior High School!

Year 5

The students are able to spell some names of natural disasters in KANJI characters and also able to tell how people in Japan prepare them.

Year 6

The students made hiragana stories to help them memorise sound and shape of a character. They are able to recognise hiragana characters (up to T line) e.g. きfor a key, ぬ for noodles,  つ for tsunami.
