Frankston line closures and disruptions

The construction works at Mentone and Cheltenham have reached a critical stage with the Mentone Station to close from Friday 20 March to mid year. A major construction blitz will start on 23 May and run for eight weeks. During this time buses will replace trains between Moorabbin and Mordialloc.

The following is a summary of the information announced by LXRP which impact MGSC school days. We are awaiting more information about any special bus services for schools and MGSC students. 

Buses replacing trains on Frankston line

Buses replace trains between Moorabbin and Frankston from Monday 23 March  to Friday 27 March.

Mentone station closes 

From Friday 20 March to mid July 2020

A shuttle bus service will operate between Southland and Parkdale stations to connect passengers to train services.
