Year 12's - VTAC applications for semester one 2023 entry will open next week, 9am Monday 1 August. Have you decided which courses you're going to apply for? We've put together some information to help you navigate the process and get a head start on your application for 2023.

 

Accessing course listings and information with VTAC CourseSearch 

To get a full list of your course options for 2023, head over to VTAC CourseSearch. More than 1700 courses are listed with detailed information on major studies, career opportunities, prerequisites, criteria and much more. It's your best source of information on tertiary courses available in Victoria.

 

Unique Student Identifier

Do you have your Unique Student Identifier (USI)? Your USI is your lifelong education number and a federal government requirement. All domestic VTAC applicants (and some international) will be required to provide their USI to create a VTAC account.

Need a USI or can't remember yours? Head to the USI website for help creating or retrieving it.

 

Open days 

Visiting an institution's open day is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for the place and the courses it offers, to learn how it works and see if it's the right fit for you. You can meet staff and students, see facilities, experience the on-campus culture, ask lots of questions and join in the many activities organised for the day.
