Year 10 Theatre Studies Performance - Mrs Laura Muranty

Year 10 students in Theatre Studies performed the play, "Children of the Black Skirt," to all Year 7 and 9 students last week. The Gothic Australian piece of theatre explores the historical landscape of Australia through the eyes of children. The stories told through monologues date as far back as 200 years ago. The characters are from a variety of countries in the UK and First Nations Australians. Each narrative depicts a harsh and tragic story, as they explore the history of colonisation and the Stolen Generations. The Gothic elements were incorporated into the set, lighting, and sound design to show a haunted orphanage, where the spirit of Black Skirt haunts the halls.

Year 8 Melodrama - Ms Joanna Jacobs

Our Year 8 students are ending the semester with Melodrama! Students have been creating their own costumes out of newspapers!

Year 9 Street Art - Mrs. Colleen Herbert

Year 9s have created paste-ups with charcoal, brown paper, and ink!
