Science Exhibition Night

Tuesday, 16 May

On Tuesday 16th May, Year 10 students had the opportunity to share what they have learned during their Semester 1 elective STEM units at the annual JMSS Exhibition Night.

Students impressed the crowd of friends, family, and the general public with their depth of knowledge and high levels of enthusiasm. Guests were treated to opportunities to engage with students through discussing student posters and displays, watching dissections and card tricks, building robotic hands, water testing, just to name a few. Primary school students involved in the Little Scientist, Big Science program were also on hand to show how they had put the investigation skills they have learnt from JMSS students to use in their own projects.

Congratulations to the students for putting on such an impressive display, and to the science team who work hard to build the skills and passion of our students throughout the year. A special thank you to Mr Shane McLean for taking the lead on organising this event.

Thank you and well done to our students!
