Variety Bash to the Gold Coast

Hi All, it’s that time of the year again!

It’s Mark, the maintenance man around the school. Just a short note to let you know that I will not be around for a couple of weeks. I will be doing this year’s Variety Bash to the Gold Coast.

On Wed 16th Aug I will be starting the 31st Annual Vic Variety Bash. We will be starting from Albert Park Racetrack making our way to Phillip Island for the first night. Then onto Shepperton, Benalla crossing the border onto Dubbo and Orange, (driving Bathurst racetrack) before heading to the coast near Coffs Harbor making our way north into the Gold Coast.

For full details follow the link https://fundraise.variety.org.au/event/bash/home for more information.

The entire bash Vic Variety Bash last year raised in total just short of $2,000,00. Our Effort last year with our two cars raised a total of just over $22,000. As only one car is going this year, we are hoping to reach $10,000.

The theme we will be dressed as this year is Caesars. Costumes are on order; the car is almost ready. The car we will going in is a 1976 HJ Holden Statesman, with Middy’s as our major sponsor. It travelled well last year with only one breakdown on the Birdsville track.

If you wish to donate to a great cause, please follow the link to our page, or come and see me between now and Tuesday the 15th of Aug before I leave.
