French Day
The French Day incursion, which was held on Thursday, 22nd June, is a whole day event for Year 7 French students, as well as Year 8 French elective students. The students were immersed in French language and cultural activities which were designed to enhance their curriculum learning program.
We would like to thank our wonderful Year 9, 11 and 12 student volunteers who helped make our annual French Day such a success!
We would also like to thank all of the staff who helped make French Day special for the students, especially Ms Kielnhofer (our very own Marie Antoinette) and Mr De Lima.
We had a plethora of activities running throughout the day including:
- French Impressionism – Monet’s Waterlilies Art Activity
- French Mime
- French Music
- French Horrible Histories
- French Crepe making
- French Language Bunting making
- French Mindfulness Colouring
and a live French Performance: Les Batons Français
Here are some photos of the day....
