Foundation Steiner–Celebrating Learning

We have been taking it easy the last few weeks as with winter has come the cold and with the cold has come illness. None the less we have done some quality learning and creative play. 

We were inspired by our story Spindlewood to make fairy homes to invite the fairies into our garden.  We have made delicious bread and eaten it! Here is the recipe:

We have explored the qualities of numbers 8, 9 and 10 and discussed what makes each of these numbers so special. 

And we have heard a silly story about a chicken who thinks the sky is falling in, which leads to her, and her friend's demise, when a cunning fox discovers this.
