Class 3/4 Steiner–Celebrating Learning
The children of 3/4S have been engaging their fellow peers with their presentations. After researching a chosen animal during our main lesson; THE HUMAN BEING AND THE ANIMAL KINGDOM, they wrote an information report.
Artistic representations began to be made and recently we started to see them. The children’s presentations have been wonderful and so are the artistic representations.
There have been souvenirs of children’s presentations for audience members to take home with them. These have included peg crocodiles, origami arctic foxes and delicious cakes (which did not last long enough to be taken home).
The new way of creating an artistic representation of an animal was costume. Annie dressed as an opaki as you will see in one of the photos below.
The main lesson on Norse Mythology has enraptured the children. The weird and wonderful stories have been taken in, digested and retold in their main lesson books. The illustrations and retells are awesome.
We are all looking forward to going on camp at Alexandra Adventure Resort. Watch out for photos of the fun we will have next week
