P&C update Term 2, Week 10 

Art Competition (week 7)

We had a blast with our Art Competition, we have so many amazing artists at our school.

The winners won a school backpack and a book of their choice.

It was so hard to pick our winners, we rewarded all the wonderful students who submitted an artwork with a sketch Pad and colour pencils, to inspire them to keep drawing and being creative.

Thank you to all the helpers who came along: Sarah, My Anh, Linh and Lan.

School Markings

As part of the Cowpasture Community Initiatives Project, our school leaders are raising funds to get school markings for the Playground A. The P&C is very keen to support this initiative, and get lots of fun and educational designs in the this playground. Some of the possible designs include alphabets, number tables, snakes and ladders & hopscotch. The P&C is supporting this initiative by providing some of the funds, and so we will be doing some additional fundraising activities next term to help make this happen. 

School Soccer Shootouts (Week 9)

The school Captains hosted ‘soccer shootouts’ during lunchtime (week 9) to raise funds for the markings on Playground A as a ‘Cowpasture Community Initiatives project’.

The P&C helped to support this event by providing the school Captains with the small gifts to give out to the winning students. We hope to see them organise more fundraising activities and to support them in this initiative.

P&C Meeting

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 2nd August in the school PL room located near the Support Unit Playground.

When you come to the meetings, you get to hear firsthand what is happening in the school.

During meetings you have a chance to speak and be involved in what the P&C plans for the upcoming terms. 

Paid members can vote to help decide what the P&C does, and how we spend the funds. 

You can always see when our next meeting is in the newsletter - either in the P&C update or the Important Dates. 

Term 3

Here’s a sneak peek into what the P&C has planned for Term 3 –

- A fundraising event for the school markings

- Father’s Day Stall (week 7)

- SASS (School Administrative and Support Staff) Recognition Week, we provide a small gift for the hard-working staff at our school.  (Week 7) 

- Planning and discussing details on the School Markings (Term 3, Term 4)

- Two P&C meetings to plan some more events for Term 4
