LMR Netball

On Monday our intermediate girl’s netball team competed in a playoff against Maryborough Community College at Charlton Park. The girls started on fire scoring quick goals early which was the difference in the game in the end with the Charlton girls coming home with a 4-point win to earn a spot in the LMR draw in Bendigo this Thursday. A big thank you to Liz Riley and Mrs Fitzpatrick for umpiring the game, and Rachel Loyd and Kim Thompson for scoring. A special mention to super coach Maddi Fitzpatrick for coming in to assist Mrs McCallum coach and inspire the girls.

This Thursday the College have three teams entered in the LMR draw, Yr 7&8, Intermediate and Senior girls teams. The girls have been very excited for the competition even running trainings and teaching some of the “non” netball girls some rules. Good luck to all teams!
