Principal's Message

Welcome Morning

It was terrific to welcome a number of new and existing schol community members to an informal morning tea earlier this week. Thanks to those who came along to grab a coffee, a pastry and to have a chat.

Year 6 Camp

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, our Year students, staff and parent helpers enjoyed a fantastic week at Coonawarra Farm Resort in East Gippsland. Coonawarra is a wonderful camp, where students enjoy a range of adventure and other activities, have fun with their friends and challenge themselves. Congratulations to all students on their adventurous spirit and positive attitude and thanks to parent helpers Bruce Millward, Matt Symmons, Elley Potgieter, Deanna Edsall as well as pre service teacher Tom Rogers. A special thank-you to staff members Michelle Chen, Craig Gooding, Nick Hewish and Jo Simpson for their contribution prior to and throughout the week.

Step Up, Clean Up

Our students and staff will be participating in the Step Up, Clean Up day at Old Orchard today. As well as the obvious benefits of cleaning and tidying our school environment, the day is part of the broader Clean Up Australia Day Campaign with a focus on sustainability and reducing waste.

Congratulations

Congratulations to former staff member Sam Snow  and husband Luke on the arrival of Albie (Albert), born on 23rd February.  Albie is super cute!  We hope to meet him in person soon.

Kind regards
