St Patrick's Day Mass

We were fortunate enough to come together as an entire school community, along with our amazing families to celebrate St Patrick's Day last Friday. Fr Dan and our Pope Francis Award students led a beautiful Mass to honour and celebrate our school's Patron Saint.

Pope Francis Award

Many of our Year 6 have embarked on completing the Pope Francis Award led by the amazing Mrs Maguire. Students and their families have made a committment to attend Masses, serve at our/their local Parish and be an active and enriched leader of the Catholic Faith in the school. We re looking forward to their servant leadershi flourishing this year. Congratulations to the students who are part of the program this year on the enthusiastic way you have started this term.

Year 2 Family Mass

This Saturday the 25th March all of our St Patrick's families are invited to join our Year 2 students and families in celebrating Family Mass at 5pm.

Please bring a plate to share after mass. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Project Compassion

Thank you to our families for your generous donations to our Project Compassion appeal so far this Lenten season. Today we are collecting a gold coin from each family as part of our Harmony Day mufti day with the money going towards the Project Compassion appeal. We will update you on how much we have raised as a school in our next newsletter. A gentle reminder that the office, library and classrooms are equipped with Project Compassion collection boxes and students are able to donate their loose change at anytime. I thank you again for your generosity to this wonderful charity.

Easter Egg Drive

As we are fast approaching Easter we would like to ask all of our very generous families to donate an Easter Egg to our Easter Egg drive.

Half of these eggs will be donated to the Sutherland St Vincent de Paul Centre who will distribute them to local families in need. The remainder of the eggs will be used to create lovely baskets and hampers which will go in our Easter Raffle. The proceeds of which will go to the school.

A book of 10 raffle tickets will be sent home to every Family on Friday 24th March for you to purchase yourselves or sell to family and friends. Each ticket costs $1.00.

Extra ticket books will be available from the school office if needed.

The raffle will be drawn on Monday 3rd April 2023 at 2.30pm.

Please send your Easter egg donations to your child/children’s classroom no later than Monday 27th March 2023.
