A Quick Run-Down of Our Weekend

21 students stayed in last weekend.  We did the obligatory trip into Eaton Fair on Friday night so that the students could peruse Kmart, re-stock from Coles and then a return trip via Treendale so that they could punish their bodies with some fast food.

Saturday morning was a 9.00am start as we headed off to Cockburn Ice Arena.  14 students attended while Bill stayed on site with the remaining 7 students, including those on weekend stock.

The Cockburn Ice Arena was a lot of fun.  Students skated and most, after some time, managed to navigate away from the safety of the surrounding barrier.  Arrika performed some impressive tricks on the ice and others showed blossoming talent.  Great fun was had by all.

Saturday night we stayed in at the College with students doing their own thing.  Korijekup was alive with dance moves whilst the games room and TV room were utilised by others.

Sunday morning students went into Harvey for the Harvey Harvest Festival.  Thomas Hewitt bravely participated in the World’s Greatest Shave to support fundraising for cancer sufferers.  Well done Thomas!
