Trades in Focus – Metals and Engineering

This year Mr Truss has developed a drop-down fridge slide project to accommodate a 40 litre fridge that can be fitted to student vehicles.  The Year 12 Metals Extras students can be seen working productively on a range of components.

 This week’s jobs include:

• Stockden Ottrey, Nick Deleo and Mitchell Snell machining the nylon bushes.
• Mr Truss instructing Ryan Sudintas on how to bend the drop-down brackets.
• Jake Bailey assembling and troubleshooting the fittings as the project comes together.

It is great to see the group engaging in a range of metals skills to produce an excellent and functional product.
