Student Leadership Update

School Captains: Myah, Seb, Ivy & Henry

School Captains Message

Hi, it's Henry, Seb, Ivy and Myah and we are here to share what has been going on lately.

The seniors have been doing bike education every Thursday. In the first two hours we do one hour of inquiry and the second we learn new skills on our bikes, like riding in a figure 8, giving way, riding in a roundabout and so much more! In the second week of next term we'll be going on a big ride down along the Barwon River and would like some parents to also come along for the ride if they can. More details to come!

Years 3 and 5 have been doing NAPLAN over the last 2 weeks and this is now finished. Good job guys!

Every Thursday in the last hour, all of the year sixes go to the prep classroom and have a session of buddies. This week we made leaf art. We went outside and collected some leaves from the prep courtyard and stuck them down with sticky tape. Some people made trees, butterflies and people. It was great fun!

Last week on Thursday, Pete, a parent of 2 students at our school, brought the Geelong Cats Premiership Cup for a tour around the school for class photos. Mr Mckinnis was very excited to see it! It was an amazing experience and we are so lucky to have it  visit our school.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
