Swimming Carnival

JPII Swimming Carnival 2023

It was a pleasure to see all the smiles, ribbons, and camaraderie between the school community members at the John Paul II 2023 Swimming carnival. Every single student who attended participated in at least one event which is outstanding.

Most students competed and participated all morning and many were heard to say that they didn't want to return to school. We had noodle and kickboard races as well as the school new favourite novelty race of underwater quidditch. We also had some very brave students who competed in just about every one of the traditional swimming events including the 50m freestyle, breast stroke and backstroke. Well done to these students.

A big thanks to the parents for coming along and all our TAs, Teachers and students who made this a very enjoyable day.

The final house scores were:

Connolly: 111, Toepfer: 135 and Gannon: 153.
