Grade 5/6 Camp

In Week 4, Grade 5/6 students went to Camp Clayton in Ulverstone for 3 nights. It was an exceptional experience and we had lots of fun. The experience challenged us to do things out of our comfort zone and it required us to think about and encourage others. Most of us enjoyed the giant swing the most but we also enjoyed all the experiences and new friendships we made. We are especially thankful to all staff for looking after us and making it fun, especially Mrs Collinson who was in charge. 

Student highlights were: 

Aaron - Food was great but especially the Chicken Parmi.

Lachlan H - the nights were my favourite.

Nic - In Cabin 3 we stayed up all night for the first night, 

we even had chicken races in our room.

Brock - Playing Marco Polo

Jayden - When others were being kind.

Tarkyn - going on the zipline 3 times.

Rory - the last night’s dinner was especially great.

Mackenzie - The giant swing with Mrs Quilliam screaming.

Estelle - the zipline - it was really fun.

Harlan - the Giant swing and going all the way to the top.

Kiara - we got to use the trampolines all the time.

Madelyn - The giant swing drop was amazing.

Maya - The zipline and spinning towards the end.

Tayah - When Hannah and Jesse went on the giant swing upside down.

Charli - The fun we had at night in our cabins with our friends.

Adnan - Being the only student who went upside down on the swing.

Mason F - When a student was “stuck” on the swing - her courage at staying so calm.

Laycee - Archery with Mr Hallsworth.

Katrina - The zipline.

Ruby - Looking after the Kinders and the birthday gathering.

Rebecka - Watching Mrs Quilliam on the giant swing.
