Grade 3/4 Myrtle & Blackwood

In both Grade 3/4 Myrtle and 3/4 Blackwood we have been focussing on Grit and Persistence as part of our work in PEEC (Positive Education Enrichment Program).

• We have been trying to persist with tasks even when they are hard. 
• We have been attempting things that we don't know how to do and learning a bit more about ourselves and our capacity to be resilient. 
• We are building our grit and becoming more persistent.

We are so proud of ourselves!

In the Grade 3/4 space we have been enjoying our unit on Prayer and considering how we can pray personally and communally as well as how the seasons of the Church year help us to pray. We have been focusing on the person of Jesus and identifying the times that he is with us in our lives. 

Some of our responses included:

• Jesus is with us when we pray (Feuree Whiteman)
• Jesus is in our lives when we do things to help others (Jaxson Wickham)
• Jesus is in our lives all the time because he is in my heart (Braxton Buck)
• Jesus is with us when we do things to help people who are less fortunate than us, like give money or goods (Maddie Henwood)
• Jesus is with us in our lives when we are playing with our friends in the playground (Tilly McNamara)
• Jesus is always with us, when we are happy, sad, at home, at school....he is with us 24/7 (Reuben Schaller)
