Principal's Report

Principal's Report:
The end of the year is fast approaching for our Year 12 students. There are only seven weeks of timetabled classes, before a short break, and then the English exam takes place. To all of our year 12 students... ensure that you make the most of this time, as you want to be in a position to be able to achieve your best result in the exam period. There are a number of “lasts” to come. The “last” whole school assembly, the “last” class in each subject, “the last” holiday, the “last” bus trip to school for some etc. Enjoy all of these, but stay focused on your study so that the “firsts” to come are more enjoyable.
Book Week
Special thanks to Michelle Parker, Rachel Fidock, Wendy Liversidge and the other teachers involved in Book Week. The lunchtime activities were well supported by students, and the Whole School Assembly on Friday was very well received (where there was a parade of those in costumes).
Shepparton Education Plan
A consultation period has recently begun with regard to the second stage of the plan, looking at early years and transition from primary school to secondary school. We have posted links on Facebook, Compass and our school newsletter for you to give your input. On Monday the 27th of August 2018, 20 of our students from Year 7 and 8 will meet with the consultation team from the VSBA, to provide input for the transition working party.

SPA 3
SPA 3 has been completed and made available on Compass, and Parent Teacher interviews are scheduled for Thursday night and Friday morning of the last week of term. (20th and 21st September) We encourage all parents/guardians to attend with their student, to gain feedback on how to maintain and improve their outcomes at school.
