Environmental Studies

Exciting things are happening in the Environmental Studies department. If you are not familiar with the subjects that are currently running this year, they are:

• Year 9 Outdoor Environments and Agricultural Studies
• Year 10 Outdoor Environments
• Year 10 Agriculture & Horticulture

Here are some photos which summarises some of the recent activities students have enjoyed as part of the subject requirements.

• Year 10 OE students learning about topography and contour mapping using plasticine models.
• Year 10 OE students making videos about building relationships with natural environments.
• Year 10 Agriculture and Year 9 OE-Ag have an amazing classroom space located in the Barn at the Aitken Farm!
• Year 10 OE students enjoying chickens as they investigate the Food Technology Garden.
• Year 10 OE students completing a ‘Bushwalk’ throughout the Aitken College property.
