Agriculture Program

Year 9 and Year 10 Agriculture Business Donations
As part of the Year 9 and Year 10 Agriculture Program, students run small businesses selling eggs from the school chickens and vegetables from student market gardens. Students manage the processes of the small business, keep records, market, sell their products and manage their finances. All money made during this program is donated to a charity of the classes choice.
Semester 1 Year 9 OEAG students made a whopping $415.00 from their egg businesses. The class decided to donate this to the World Wildlife Fund, to be placed in the Panda, Sea-Turtle, Snow Leopard and Koala funds.
Semester 1 Year 10 AG students donated their earnings of $210.00 to the Buy a Bale - Rural Aid drought charity, supporting farmers currently impacted by the drought. Congratulations to both groups.

Semester 2 Agriculture Markets
Once again, there will be student run markets this semester, selling eggs and fresh vegetables. Please follow the schools Facebook page and keep an eye out for the market signs to know when they are occurring. The students love your support and you get delicious fresh eggs and vegetables.
