Play2Learn Supported Playgroup
Playgroup operates at Numurkah Primary School every Tuesday from 9 am - 11 am during school terms. Playgroup is run by Save the Children and is free, fun and full of activities for kids from 0-5 years. There is also a healthy snack provided! Everyone welcome!
Tuesday 20th February - Playgroup will be having a special visit from a Dietician. If families have any questions or would like more information please come along to Playgroup.

The Department of Rural Health at the University of Melbourne invites you to attend a free public lecture by Dr Andrew Wake, titled When anger gets in the way- How to help your kids when they flip their lids!
Do you find yourself tearing out your hair when you are confronted by an emotional outburst or tantrum from your child? Are you concerned about their development and your contribution as a parent?
Dr Andrew Wake is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in both the public and private health systems and has recently released a book, 'The Good Enough Parent". He has extensive experience in giving talks and seminars and has a keen interest in helping parents and care giving adults to understand the emotional life and needs of the child in their life and helping them to provide 'enough' of the things they need.

Numurkah Flood Mitigation Project
SAVE THE DATE! Stop this happening to Numurkah again!
Be at the town meeting to support the Numurkah Flood Mitigation Project.
8pm - 1st March 2018 Numurkah Town Hall.
Why you need to be there?
Without an overwhelming show of community support at this meeting – (that is a gathering of the community like we see at Anzac Day) - flood mitigation for Numurkah will not proceed!
So please give a small amount of your time to this project and…be there for your town!
Numurkah Lions Club Inc. Market
- The market will be held this Saturday, February 17th, from 8am to 12 noon.
- South Bank of Broken Creek Numurkah.
- There will be Cottage Craft, Produce, New and Second Hand Goods - Something for everyone!
Junior Tennis Tournament
Mooroopna Lawn Tennis Club Inc. will be holding a Junior Tournament including Round Robin Singles and Doubles.
When: Sunday 25th February 2018
Venue: Mooroopna Grass Courts / Hard Courts
Time: Register 8:30 am for 9 am start for Singles Tournament. Register 11:30 am for 12:30 pm start for Doubles Tournament at the McLennan Centre - Lawn Tennis Club House

AFL 5ths Under 11 Competition.
The Picola DFNL has introduced an under 11 AFL competition into the league.
Katunga Swans are looking for extra girls and boys to join the Swannies team.

2018 St John’s Parish Sacramental Program
