Swimming has started off with a splash this week. It has been great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the challenge of moving up levels. Thank you to those parents who are currently helping out, but we would also like to encourage more parents at the pool. Just give us a call at school if you can assist in any way. Volunteers do require Working with Children Checks. These checks are free for volunteers and we certainly can assist you to get started especially if you are thinking about volunteering in the future.

This week at assembly we presented our school and house captains with their badges. I look forward to working with the children over the year and developing their leadership capacities. Sarah and Jaxon have started out well conducting our school assemblies and the house captains ran their first activities at the welcome BBQ last week.

We have also finalised our Junior School Councillors and will announce these at our next assembly with badges to be presented at the following assembly.

I hope you are enjoying our new newsletter format. This will be sent out every fortnight from now onward.
