A Warm Welcome to all the new and existing students to 2023.

Our Induction this year was run a little different and we hit the road running. Congratulations to all new students in showing strength and resilience. Feedback I have received is that students are now getting used to the routines and settling in well.

We understand that the transition into boarding life can be a difficult one for our students. To make this transition as smooth as possible it's important to let us know of any issues that your child may have. Please feel free to contact myself (0428480203) or our trusted and dedicated residential staff members (0428480206 and 0428480207) if you have any questions and/or problems.

Peaceful Bay Camp

Our annual camp will be held at Peaceful Bay this term from 24th – 26th February. During this weekend the College Boarding House will be closed meaning students staying in residence over the weekend are required to attend.

Students camp out under the stars and partake in fun activities during the day.

This is a fully catered camp, and we encourage all boarders to attend.

College Ball

Our amazing Ball Committee have put together a fun and memborable 2023 Denmark Ag Rodeo Ball.

This year we are holding our annual Ball on a Saturday 18th March, at the Denmark Angling Club.

The cost is $85 per ticket. Photos and nibbles will be at the College starting at 4pm for Year 12 students and partners and 4.30pm for all others attending.

A bus will depart the College at 6pm with the last bus carrying our Year 12s for a grand entrance. The Ball will finish at 9pm and students will return to the college via the College bus. It is not a closed weekend and students being collected are to follow normal REACH processes.

Partners who do not attend the College are required to have preapproval before attending.

All students and guests are required to arrive and depart from the College.

All travel arrangements need to be submitted via email or on REACH and approved prior to the event.

The Ball will start and end earlier to ensure everyone is able to travel home safely.

Further information will be coming out through Compass shortly, including permission, purchasing tickets and partner consent forms.

Leave On REACH

Putting in leave can be difficult until you actually start doing it, but we are here to help. If you have a problem, please don’t hesitate to call the Residential Office. A few reminders though please:

  • Leave must be in by 8pm Wednesday before the weekend.
  • A Host must be named, so we can ensure students leave with the right person.
  • Please add all information for public transport and attach the ticket to the leave form.
  • We also ask that the students apply for their own leave (not parents), as this gives them a sense of ownership and helps develop their planning and time management skills. This also makes it easy for the parents to receive the email, check that all the details are accurate and then approve.
  • All leave where your child is missing school will need to be discussed with the Deputy Principal before approval to ascertain if it is reasonable cause or not. No student should be missing school without reasonable cause and doing so affects your child’s attendance and progress.

Week and Weekend activities.

We want to support your child to do the recreational activities they love, whether this is bike riding, surfing, sports, art or music. If you and your child have come across something in the local community that they would like to be a part of please feel free to organise, update the details in REACH and we will be able to UBER RESI them there.
