Stage 2

A message from Stage 2

The Stage 2 teachers cannot believe how quickly this term is going. The students have settled in well to their class routines and they are learning many new skills and strategies. A big thank you to all the families who came for the parent-teacher-student interviews. It was great to meet you and identify goals with your child.

A snippet of Stage 2 - Term 1 so far

I like art with Miss Moloney because we get to learn more about Indigenous culture and art from other countries.

- Penny L

I have enjoyed doing Aboriginal art using different Aboriginal symbols. I have also enjoyed handwriting and being able to join letters when writing in cursive.

- Abigail A

I have enjoyed learning how to be safe online in ICT and learning about length in maths.

- Zara G

At school, I really enjoy PE because we do running, throwing, jumping and lots more. This helps us practise for athletics carnivals and cross-country. I also like choir where you have opportunities to go and sing in front of people. I am very excited for the next choir concert.

- Savannah M

This term, I have really enjoyed maths groups because it's a great way to learn maths together at the right level. It also makes maths fun and enjoyable while learning.

- Cooper K

This term, we have enjoyed learning more music and games, especially 'Bump Up Tomato' and 'Pass the Beat Around the Room'. People have joined the choir where we are learning new songs and singing with beautiful Mrs Porter and Miss Corby.

 - Audrey G and Emily W

I have enjoyed literacy lessons. Why is literacy fun? Because... we use writing for imagination, to practise spelling and to have fun. We use pictures to write about... anything!

- Eliza M
