Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF)

The CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to eligible families to assist with expenses relating to camps, sport and/or excursions ($125 is payable per student).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2023

If you received the CSEF in 2022, you DO NOT need to complete an application form for 2023, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances.  The school will automatically apply on your behalf.

If you are applying for the CSEF for the very first time, please come into the school office and collect an application form (and provide a copy of your Concession Card) for the school to submit on your behalf.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for the fund, a parent/legal guardian of a student must be a holder of a valid means-tested concession card, such as a Veteran Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or be a temporary foster parent.  There is also a special consideration category for asylum seeker and refugee families.
  • You must provide a copy of your valid card with your completed application form (first time applications only).
  • Cards must be valid on the first day of either Term 1 (31 January 2023) or Term 2 (24 April 2023).
  • Applications will be accepted up until 23rd June 2023, with payments commencing from March onwards.

Allergy and Asthma forms

These forms will be sent home shortly with students listed as having an allergy or asthma. Please complete the forms and return them to the school office as soon as possible, with any medication required.  If your child no longer has a medical issue, please write this on the form and return it to the office.

Visitors, Late Arrival and Early Departure

A reminder that all visitors (including parents/carers) must first sign in at the office and collect a Visitor sticker to wear prior to entering the classrooms during school hours.

If your child is late arriving at school, they must come to the office to collect a late pass before going to class.  Any child showing as 'absent without explanation' once the morning roll has been marked will have an SMS sent to their parent/guardian at 10:00am asking for an attendance note to be entered providing an explanation.

If collecting your child early from school, the parent/guardian must come to the office first to collect an Early Departure Pass to take to the teacher.

Medication

If your child requires medication during school hours (either regular or short term medication) parents must complete a Medical Permission Form which authorises staff to administer it to your child at the required time. Forms available at the school office and on Compass - School Documentation. Medication must be in its original packaging, and brought to the school office.

Compass

A reminder that most communication between home and school is conducted via Compass.  Please check in regularly to your Compass parent portal and have your notifications switched on to avoid missing any important information regarding school happenings and events.

Compass passwords may need to be updated every 12 months.  If yours is due for an update, you will receive notification from Compass to do so.  If you are having any issues, please contact school office staff who will be able to assist.

Working with Children Check

We value the support and assistance of parent helpers.  All parent helpers are required to hold a current WWCC and present it to the school office before they are able to assist.
